Solid rows are deals: an auction under your max ending within a day, or a Buy now price under your max. Listings already bid over your max aren't deals, so they're hidden unless you set Over-max listings to Show (any you've marked stay visible). Resale values come from recent sales of the same item: the scout reads each full listing and searches the most exact match first — the model or style number (Chanel 5183), then the product line, and only then brand + type (marked as a broad match). It uses the median of matching Poshmark sold listings from the last 90 days (180 if there are fewer than 3), and the low end (25th percentile) when the photos or the listing itself mention damage or wear (scratches, peeling, missing case, holes…). Listing wording that says replica or not authentic means no value, and kids sizes are priced only off kids sales. Lots are priced piece by piece and only when every piece has its own sales. Listings with fewer than 3 matching sales get no value and are never counted as deals. Photos are still checked for the exact item, condition and damage. Gold and silver with stones: each stone is priced from recent sales of similar loose stones (same kind, natural vs lab, similar carat) and added to the profit only when the listing proves it's real (tester screen, lab report); otherwise it's shown as possible upside.
